To celebrate the hotel’s centennial anniversary, every room was completely renovated to a more modern look, while keeping the hotel’s rich history and Back Bay location in mind. Chic color palettes of blue and plum recall the elegant hues of rich marble, seen throughout the lobby and in every guest bathroom. Custom black and white sketches of Boston were commissioned and add sophistication to the finished spaces. Using high-end fabrics and furnishings, the refreshed spaces are designed to reflect the elegance of the past, while including contemporary conveniences.

This luxury Boston hotel has been a symbol of the city’s rich history and elegance since its gala opening in 1912. To celebrate our centennial anniversary, the hotel has completed a $20 million plus renovation and restoration project.
This exciting project included remodeling of all 383 lavish guestrooms and suites, enhancements to meeting rooms and public spaces, a new restaurant, and the addition of a 3,000 square foot rooftop health club. In its 100th year, our historic landmark shines even brighter than ever.
Centrally located in Boston’s historic Back Bay, The Fairmont Copley Plaza sits steps away from the Boston Public Library, historic Beacon Hill, and the Freedom Trail. Our historic landmark is located only a few blocks from the Hynes Convention Center, Copley Place Mall and the boutiques of Newbury Street.
